Organic Apples harvested from our Orchard Spa today are Holstein, Gravenstein, Granny Smith, Fuji and Golden Delicious. Tomorrow, the 20th of October we will be holding our own ‘Apple day’ where apples will be pressed using our own press, pasteurised and ready to drink. We will also be making Apple chutney for all Lakes residents to enjoy. There will be Apple games for the toddlers and some teaching on traditional apple harvesting.

Local businesspeople and estate agents enjoyed a networking lunch at the Orchard Spa at The Lakes by yoo. The event, co-hosted by The Lakes and Cotswold Life, was attended by more than 50 guests.

The Orchard Spa
Work is now well underway for Orchard Spa. Orchard Spa will feature a 20m x 8.5m indoor pool, sauna and steam rooms and treatment rooms all set within an arboretum which will feature mature trees including a giant redwood, copper beech and whitebeam. Heights of tree will vary and be up to 7m tall. There will also be a mature orchard with apples, pears, cherries and walnuts.
